If anyone is looking for amazing quality long-haired German Shepherds, I highly recommend Central Florida Shepherds.
Steve and Teresa were wonderful to work with and helped us for a year, trying to find the perfect puppy! We were very picky after losing our beautiful, black and red, long-haired shepherd named Duke, and wanted the same rich colors in our new puppy. Steve and Teresa answered all our questions and we're very responsive. We even drove 7 hours to meet the potential mom and dad of our new fur baby, Zeus Jr. We fell in love with Zeus Sr, his disposition, and Vega, her gentleness, so we decided on naming ours after his father. Our Zeus has the same temperament as his dad. We are so fortunate! We also loved seeing the environment in which the dogs live. They are roaming around acres of land with cows and chickens--a very healthy and happy environment! I was born and raised in Germany and had German shepherds my whole life. Central Florida Shepherd's surpassed all our expectations! No need to look anywhere else.

Steve and Teresa were wonderful during the entire process of getting my new baby. I had never gotten a puppy from a breeder before and didn’t quite know what to expect. After our first phone call, I immediately felt like I was making the right choice by getting a puppy from them. They treat their dogs like family and that is very important to me.

Steve sent pictures, videos, and updates regularly. Any questions I had were answered right away. My puppy is beautiful, sweet, affectionate, smart, and healthy! I could not have asked for a better experience or a better best friend! I will continue to recommend Central Florida Shepherds to friends and family!

From the very first phone call to the day I picked up my little Chaos, the buying experience was extremely professional and pleasantly exceeded all expectations. Everything Stephen said he was going to do, he did. If he said he was going to call you at a specific time on a particular day, it was done. For an online agreement between strangers, communication and trustworthiness was extremely important to me. During the entire process all initial concerns were erased.
As for my puppy, from day 1, she came into our home as if she had been there forever. She was actually quite fearless. She and my 4 year old shepherd have been inseparable…smoothest adjustment I’ve ever experienced. Chaos is inquisitive, outgoing, confident and interacts appropriately towards other people. Lastly, she came to us pretty much potty trained. When she is taken out, she does her business almost immediately…which is really helpful in the training process.
Even though we have only had her a few weeks, everything about her and the overall experience has been flawless.

I was interested in a German Shepherd puppy who would be a family dog that I could also train and perhaps compete in dog sports.

I did a lot of research to find a responsible breeder that would take special care in the first 8 weeks of a puppy’s life and who also did genetic testing to screen for problems common to the breed. It is very apparent that Buddy was well socialized during that time.

Teresa and Steve were very good communicators from the start and I could tell they genuinely cared for their dogs. I purchased a long-haired German Shepherd who I named Buddy. Buddy is an extremely smart, handsome, well-tempered family dog. I can’t thank them enough for Buddy. I will be a loyal and lifelong customer.

I’ve wanted a long haired Shepherd for quite some time and Central Florida Shepherds was the best thing I could have possibly done. I received pictures and videos weekly and they answered all of my questions right away. Our Shepherd just turned a year old and we couldn’t be happier. We also have a one year old baby and she is great with her. Steve and Teresa from Central Florida Shepherds have a customer for life. I would never go anywhere else. 

This was the best experience I’ve ever had the process from start to finish with two people who absolutely love doing what they do, and love each and every one of these shepherds. The knowledge and professionalism we received from Steve and Teresa is second to none and let’s keep in mind they have absolutely beautiful German shepherds!!!

In March we purchased a beautiful all black female German Shepherd puppy from Central Florida Shepherds. Over the years we have owned seven large breed dogs and without question Central Florida Shepherds has been the best breeder we have worked with. Their care and dedication to their dogs combined with unparalleled communication throughout the process sets Central Florida Shepherds apart from other breeders. Our girl Annie has an amazing temperament, very intelligent and 100% healthy which further reflects on the expertise and strict breeding standards of CFS. They have my strongest endorsement to anyone looking to purchase one of their amazing Shepherds.

I would highly recommend Central Florida Shepherds to everyone.  Steve and Teresa are very friendly and accommodating and will answer any questions you may have.  I kept seeing their post on Facebook and I fell in love with the female that was available so I had to have her.  I picked her up over the 4th of July and named her Daisy.  She is laid back, easy going and has a great temperament. As I was on vacation and looking on Facebook I saw that they had another female available from a different litter .  After talking my husband into allowing me to get another one with the exception that he got to name her. I got in touch with Steve and Teresa.  I explained to them that I’m heading back home and have a little layover in Orlando. I asked if they could bring the puppy to the airport along with a carrier that I could borrow. They said absolutely and they were there when I got off the plane.  My husband named her Penelope. She is even more laid back than Daisy and is very sweet.  So if you’re looking for a German Shepherd that is laid back, great temperament and also gorgeous. I recommend Central Florida Shepherds.   

If you’re looking for a top of the line stunning GSD you have found the right breeder! Central Florida Shepherds is amazing to work with! Their communication is excellent and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another GSD from them! My husband and I already talking about getting another one. They produce healthy puppies and really, really care about what they are doing. We purchased our Black & Red male GSD from them and they kept me updated on the pregnancy progress of the mother, they sent pictures the night he was born, along with lots updates! As well as his first visit to the vet! We picked him up at the end of March and absolutely LOVE him! Our GSD is now 8 months old and stunning! Healthy and happy! I still send in pictures of how well he’s doing to them! Again, if you want a top quality GSD look no further than Central Florida Shepherds! 🐾
